The Role: We seek a talented and experienced '2nd Electrician'.

Description Brief: 

As a 2nd Electrician, you will assist the Chief Electrician or Chief Engineer in maintaining and repairing the ship's electrical systems. Your responsibilities include monitoring insulation faults, taking daily readings of Cathodic and Antifouling Protection systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and the Safety Management System (SMS). You will manage inventory, participate in drills and training, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold high operational and safety standards on board.

Minimum Requirements:

- To apply for this role, you must hold an Electro-Technical Rating (III/7) License.

- At least 3 contracts worth of experience onboard ships as an electrician.

- Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.

- An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.
