Job Description

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Safety, the Project Manager is r esponsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the completion of projects within set time-lines and budgets. Leads project teams, manages resources, and facilitates communication to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional initiatives, implementing process improvements, and supporting post-acquisition integration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed project plans, defines copes, sets objectives, creates schedules and allocates resources
  • Leads and motivates project team to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Facilitates communication between stakeholders
  • Tracks project progress, identifying potential issues and risks to the project. Implements initiatives to mitigate issues and risks
  • Manages project budget and allocates resources
  • Builds and maintains relationships with project stakeholders and business leaders
  • Ensures that project deliverables and expectations are met
  • Requires travel to Folience business units 20% of time
  • Other duties as assigned, per the needs of the business.

Job Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, highly organized and a proven problem solver. Effectively manages workload to meet deadlines and can manage multiple projects at a time; delegates appropriately. Strong skills in risk management; identifies, assesses and mitigates as required. Ability to adapt and change course in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with project management software and tools.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in in Business or related field with five plus years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
